GURU AND THE TRANSMISSION OF PURE VISION

Traditionally in the East the word guru means “teacher”. In reality however, it does not describe a specific person or individual, but rather represents the transpersonal dimension of reality. This of course means that the true teacher is not outside, but is our own primordial consciousness. Guru means the pure space of existence, the Space that manifests, experiences Itself, knows Itself and self-realizes Itself. Guru is an energy field that is potentially limitless.
It expresses itself in the interaction between our higher self and the various aspects of our individuality. It expresses itself through the stages of gaining experiences, learning life lessons, maturing and ultimately taking care of all the inner parts that need attention and support. It represents the process of our spiritual evolution.

>>> The relationship with our higher “Self” can manifest on an external level. It manifests itself as an interaction with a person who can be a pure channel of energy transmission, energy flowing directly from the source. <<<

We live in a time when a large part of humanity is completing the cycle of its evolution and reaping the fruits of experience in this density of existence. As a result, we have great potential, ready to share with the world. Despite the lack of internal integration, many of us have a deep motivation to be teachers for others. However, most are not ready and do not want to waste time on study and long-term practice. Instead, they want to share – Themselves – what they have already collected in their evolutionary cycle.
So a situation arises where society is filled with potential teachers, wanting to realize themselves in this field, but there are not many dedicated adepts ready to undergo deeper training. And especially to devoted study of spiritual tradition and practicing it for years on individual level.

Neo-shamanism and neo-tantra have been popular for last dozen of years,– they can be a quick catalyst for processes and give a foretaste of completion of traditional paths, but do not provide solid foundations developed over years of practice.
Motivated by the desire to find our life mission and fulfill our own ambitions, focused on achieving our goals, we often prefer shortcuts. This is determined by unfulfilled needs to be seen, recognized by ourselves and others.
The need to fulfill ourselves in personal and spiritual development, and to find our place in a commercialized world. Although underneath there is often a deep need to help others, often our agenda of self-fulfillment becomes more important than our original intentions.
Sometimes we reach a situation, where all the good energy we have developed, is consumed by inner deficits and attachments.

Paradoxically, since we live in a society of potential teachers, who themselves have no motivation for long-term practice and study, perhaps the way to activate the inner guide, will be to try to play the role of a guide. And gradually gaining experience in this way…
From a broader perspective, this situation has enormous potential.
We are shown a society of people who want to pass on their experiences to others, help, share their gifts. Where can they find receivers? – In themselves.

The situation clearly shows that the traditional division between mentor and disciple is being transcended. The new development model creates conditions for each of us to be able to constantly move from one role to another, so that we can transcend previous identifications and attachments to one identity.
This is a new paradigm of development, when we become a student and teacher at the same time. When we empathize with the other person, while we share ourselves. And when we are able to open ourselves for receiving, when in turn they pass themselves on to us.

From this perspective, our life journey comes down to finding, recognizing and maturing our inner guide. Parts of our individuality – those that are lost and traumatized, afraid of repeating difficult life lessons – need to find their protector and advisor. They need to believe in themselves, trust, surrender and gradually heal. Then it becomes possible to shift our attention completely inward to recognize ourselves as original being that is the source of all reality.
